Easy Stamping Project - a Gift Bag

I think that some of the most useful rubber stamping projects are often the most simple. These are the quick and easy projects that don't take too long to do, yet with a bit of clever stamping, produce wonderful results. This paper gift bag is an excellent example of this. The bag is extremely simple, yet with some basic rubber stamping techniques it can be transformed into something that is quite special and almost makes a gift in its own right! I have used heat embossing as a resist in this project as this is an effective way to get an all-over design. This is a useful project for unplanned gifts - simply pop a few chocolates, a small bunch of flowers or some other treats into the bag and no one will know that this is the result of a last minute panic!

Do you have an 'old favorite' stamping project? I'd love to hear about it!

That snowflake is a rubber stamp? I don’t remember ever seeing one quite that intricate.
