October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

We're all aware of the pink ribbon that reminds us all of breast cancer and the issues that surround it. Raising awareness of breast cancer is part of the battle and the pink ribbon helps to do this. There are many ways of displaying the pink ribbon, including jewelry, clothes - and rubber stamps.

The Pink Ribbon Shop has a wide range of items featuring the pink ribbon. Some products that will interest stampers are the pink ribbon stamp that is showing in the photograph and also a customizable pink ribbon stamp. The customizable stamp is an interesting stamp! Stampers can choose up to 55 upper case characters which flow around the outside of the pink ribbon. The stamp is a two-color self inking stamp with an impression of 1.63 inches. One of the exciting things about this stamp is that the Pink Ribbon Store has a wide range of stationery to go with it. These cards, envelopes and other items are simple to customize using this stamp. There are many other ways of using a breast cancer awareness pink ribbon stamp. These include:
  • Use a pink ribbon stamp to stamp on the bottom of letters, notes and other stationery
  • Place a pink ribbon image onto the back of handmade cards
  • Stamp all over designs onto craft paper to make pink ribbon gift wrap
