Embossing Ink

Clear Embossing Ink

Kate Pullen
Definition: Embossing Ink is a clear slow drying ink to which embossing powders adhere to with ease.

The image is rubber stamped onto a surface with embossing ink and embossing powders poured over the top. Colored pigment inks work equally as well, however the color of the ink may react with the embossing powders giving unexpected results. This might present the opportunity for some wonderful and unusual results so do not be scared to experiment!

Embossing Inks are Good For:
  • Creative projects where a slow drying ink is required
  • Creating toned images on colored paper or cardstock
  • All embossing projects
Tip: Embossing ink can be used to adhere other materials to stamped images such as fine glitters, mica and art sand.
