Keep your hands and work surface clean when making cards to keep your handmade card in tip top condition. It is very easy to get dirty finger prints or smudges of glue or other items on a handmade card and this can spoil the finished effect. Wash your hands before starting a card making session. Even very clean hands have natural oils that can leave finger marks on some papers and other surfaces.
Glitter is one of the worst culprits for appearing where its not wanted. Use a soft brush such as a paint brush to brush any remaining bits of glitter from your work surface. A craft mat is an ideal surface for card making and these can be washed afterwards to make sure they are clean for your next card making session.
