Solid Rubber Stamp

Definition: Solid stamps have a design that produces an image in block color rather than purely an outline. An example of a solid stamp might be a flower or heart where the entire shape is stamped with color. This is different to an outline stamp where the image has an outline only.

Solid stamps are good for quick projects and are ideal for children, however they are also suitable for more advanced techniques such as printing on fabric.

Solid Rubber Stamps are Good For:
  • Projects where a bold image is required
  • Quick images
  • Over stamping with other colors or designs
  • Creating interesting backgrounds by stamping multiple images in graduating inks
Tip: Solid stamps make a fantastic subtle background when stamped in clear ink on colored paper or cardstock.
