While it would be great to have a text stamp for every occasion, there are times when the perfect stamp is just not available. Individual alphabet stamps are a good alternative, however buying a full set in different sizes and styles can prove costly. Printing text and incorporating that into rubber stamping projects is a useful way to provide the perfect sentiment or greeting. With a little planning, it is possible to incorporate the text into a project in a seamless way.

Picking the right font to co-ordinate with a rubber stamping project is essential. The wide range of fonts freely available means that there is likely to be a font to co-ordinate with any project. A few examples are shown in the picture below and these give a good indication of the different styles that can be found. Curlz, for instance, is ideal for use with quirky and fun stamping projects, where as Verdana may be more suited to formal stamps. These are just a few examples to demonstrate the range available.
