Rubber Stamp Embellished Circle Card
These easy handmade cards were all made using the same versatile technique. By stamping images onto shapes such as discs or circles, unique embellishments can be created to adorn greetings cards for any occasion. The technique can be adapted in a wide variety of ways, for instance using different shapes or colored cardstock.
These cards have been created using Hampton Arts Classic Stamps
' and 'Baby
', however any small stamps would work perfectly for these projects.
Chalk Colored Stamped 'Baby' Card
This easy handmade card was made by stamping a series of 16 discs and coloring them with decorators chalk. The chalks were lightly brushed over the circular paper discs to give a series of gentle pastel shades to reflect the fact that this card is to celebrate the birth of a baby.
Simple Wedding Card
The same technique was used to make this wedding card. Instead of stamping onto white circles or discs, a light silver-gray card was used and this gave a classic sophisticated feel for this card to mark a wedding.
Random Circle Card
This card was created by randomly placing the discs or circles on the page. By allowing the discs to overlap slightly the textured effect was enhanced. The circles were colored using marker pens and this gives a more vibrant color, the edge of each cardstock disc was also colored. This emphasized the shape and bought added color to the card.
