Simple Halloween Card

Use our printable 'Boo To You' background paper to create this simple Halloween card. Use a ghost stamp to create a ghostly figure to decorate the card. Either use a shop bought stamp or create your own stamp from craft foam. This design is easy to adapt in a whole variety of ways!

Instructions

• Print out the Boo To You Background Paper or one of the other Halloween themed backgrounds from the Halloween Template Gallery.
• Cut the background paper to size.
• Color the background with chalks.
• Stamp and cut out the ghost image. Add any details, such as eyes and mouth, using a black marker pen. Paint gives a more textured finish when used with foam stamps and adds a contrast with the smooth texture of the background paper.
• Cut an oval from the center of a piece of scrap card or paper. The oval should be slightly smaller than the width of the ghost to give the impression that the ghost is standing out from the background. Use this as a template to color a darker oval in the center of the background paper
• Trim the ghost image so that it fits within the oval.
• Assemble the pieces onto a card blank or a piece of folded card stock.
• Add a row of three dimensional paint or glitter glue dots around the outside of the oval and around the background paper.

• White ink or paint

• Chalks
• Scrap card or paper
• Three dimensional paint or glitter glue
• Scissors and glue
