Make Cone Witches for Halloween

Kate Pullen

These cone witches are easy to make. The witches are made from a cone body and a separate head. The head simply sits loosely on the top of the body. The witches can be adapted in many ways - dress them up in bright colors or keep them dark and mysterious. The faces also give plenty of opportunity for creativity, you could even draw a different face on each side and change the direction of the head as the mood takes you! Finish the witch's ensemble with a cone hat and she's ready to decorate a Halloween table! I decorated the witch's dress with a cobweb rubber stamp, however other types of Halloween stamps could be used to add decoration to the dress and cloak.

Halloween Paper Cone Witch Template

The witches have been made using this simple cone people template - Printable Cone People Template, however they are very easy to make without a template if you prefer. They are simply created using two cone shapes for the dress and cloak with a tiny cone for the hat. The head is two discs that are joined by a band of paper.
