Use a repositionable glue to temporarily attach the foam shape to a stamping block. Other ways to attach the foam to a stamping block include double sided tape and even glue sticks. Ink the stamp as normal to use - remembering that foam absorbs a lot of ink so give the stamp a good dab before using.

Paint also works well with foam stamps. Carefully coat the stamp with paint using a paint brush.
