1st – Anniversary of the release of the Beatle's Sergeant Pepper Album – even if you are not a Beatle's fan, plenty of inspiration for stamping projects can be found using lyrics from songs such as When I'm Sixty-Four, With a Little Help from My Friends and Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.
2nd - Anniversary the Coronation of the Queen of England - be the queen of your own castle today, and set aside some 'me time' for rubber stamping.
2nd – Republic Day in Italy- celebrate with your own Italian themed stamping projects. For instance, how about baking some slices of pizza and presenting them to family and friends in hand stamped pie boxes. 2nd – Anniversary of the Birth of Johnny Weismuller – remember the man who played Tarzan with a jungle themed project.

7th – Write to Your Father Day - a good opportunity to start thinking about Father's Day rubber stamping projects.
8th – Queen's Official Birthday (2009)- Queen Elizabeth II has an official birthday. Why not declare the day an official birthday of a loved one and have a special party. There are lots of party templates that are perfect for rubber stamping.
9th – Birthday of Donald Duck – a great excuse for some duck-themed stamping! While this isn't Donald, there are some great duck images that are available from About.com Clipart.
9th – Birthday of Johnny Depp - sigh.... Well known, amongst other things, for his role in Pirates of the Caribbean series of movies. Mark the day with a
pirate themed card.
10th – Anniversary of the Patenting of the Ball Point Pen - cover a ball point pen with your own decorated papers for a really unusual gift.
11th – German Chocolate Cake Day - make some german chocolate cake. Either package this nicely in handmade gift packaging, or eat it all yourself while planning a stamping project!
12th - Anniversary of the Dedication of the Baseball Hall of Fame - build baseball into a rubber stamping project. See these baseball craft projects for some ideas for things to make.
13th – Raggedy Ann and Andy Festival (2009) - use these clip art dolls as embellishments to decorate a rubber stamping project.

16th - Youth Day in South Africa - this marks the start of one of the biggest events in South African history when school children protested against Bantu Education. It is a national holiday in honor of young people who lost their lives in the struggle. See About.com African History for more information. Remembering people who lost their lives fighting for what they believe in is always important - what ever the cause. Using your work to help keep awareness of an important cause is a great way to combine art and social awareness.
16th – Anniversary of the Birth of Stan Laurel – if your work space is saying 'that's another fine mess that you've got me into' then perhaps it's time for a clean up! Good rubber stamp storage systems are useful for keeping stamps in good condition as well as helping to keep you organized!
16th - Bloomsday - this day commemorates the life and works of the Irish writer, James Joyce. This includes reliving events from his book Ulysses. Give your stamping projects an Irish feel with some of these Saint Patrick's Day and Irish themed projects.
17th – National Fudge Day – pick from this top 10 list of fudge recipes and make fudge for gifts for family and friends. Pop a few chunks into a bag which is decorated with a bag topper for a pretty gift.
