Large paper flowers make lovely decorations for parties and other special occasions. Made from tissue paper, paper flowers can be created to coordinate with other decorations or simply to add a splash of color to a home or garden.

These large bold paper flowers are easy to make and are ideal for customizing with rubber stamps. Add a few stamped images along the edges of the flower to give added detail. Use a coordinating colored ink to provide depth to the flower or to complement other items of decoration. A few dots of glitter glue catch the light and add sparkle to the flower.

These large flowers are made from sheets of rectangular tissue paper and can be made any size. The flower in the picture has been made by using whole sheets of tissue paper. The flowers are simple to vary - for instance the edges could be left uncut for a different look.

Materials Required
  • 4 sheets of tissue paper
  • Rubber stamps and inks
  • Other embellishment such as glitter glue
  • Craft wire
