Guide Review - Product Review of Adirondack Dye Ink Pads

Adirondack dye inks are a good choice for a stamper who is looking for a combination of fast drying and vibrant colored inks. The ink pads are made from raised felt and they feel 'juicy' and full of ink. Reinkers are available in all the shades and colors.

Colors

The range of 48 colors means that there are color schemes available for most projects. The colors have been created to match and complement other products in the Adirondack line which adds to the scope of the inks. The Earthtone inks are, as the name suggests, more natural colors. This does not mean that the shades are muted, however, some of the colors in this range, such as 'red pepper' are bright. The Lights are pastel shades and the Brights are brighter and more vivid colors. The difference between some colors is quite subtle making them ideal for projects which follow these color schemes, but the color difference may not be so apparent on some deeply colored papers.

Ease of Use

Adirondack dye inks are easy to use. Being fast drying they are great for projects where several images are to be stamped or different colored used. They are also perfect for projects where heat setting or heat embossing would not be suitable. The raised felt surface gives a good and even coverage of ink on the stamp.

Cleaning

Rubber stamps clean easily after using Adirondack dye inks using just soap and water or wipes. Specialist cleaners also work well.

Storage

The ink pads are simple to store and are stackable. This helps to reduce the amount of space that is required for storage.
