Rubber Stamping and Craft Activities for Children's Parties

Shrink plastic is great fun to use and appeals to children of all ages. This would make a fun children's party activity. The specially formulated plastic shrinks when it is heated. The finished item ends up much thicker and harder than the original version. This is perfect for making charms that can be used in jewelry and in a wide range of other items. Materials Required

• Sheets of shrink plastic
• Rubber stamps
• Ink pads
• Pens, pencils and paints to add color
• Scissors
• Hole Punch
• Other items as required (ie key fob)

As shrink plastic needs to be heated in order for it to shrink it will be necessary to have an adult or two to hand to help with this part of the activity. Shrink plastic can be shrunk with a heat tool or in an oven.

Either make paper party hats to give out at a children's party or, as an alternative, have a party activity where children make their own hats. A few rubber stamps and lots of embellishments are all that is required to make some great paper hats!
