If you are wondering what a medallion rubber stamp is and how it is used then read on! A medallion rubber stamp is simply a rubber stamp with a distinctive image which has been designed to allow different portions to be colored or cut out and layered. These are versatile stamps and are highly adaptable. Medallion stamps are generally large with bold images. The photograph above shows a medallion stamped image which has been colored and assembled in layers to give a 3d image.

A wide variety of inks can be used with medallion stamps and the type of ink will depend on how the stamped image is to be used. Slow drying pigment inks, for instance, are great for using with embossing powders. For a more detailed look at medallion stamps take a look at this profile.
