Before using a medallion rubber stamp it is useful to take a look a the image design and plan how to cut or color the stamped image to the best effect. Some rubber stamps come complete with cutting and project suggestions, whereas others are left for people to work out their own designs. It can be useful to stamp out a few images onto scrap paper and try a few different variations before planning the final project. In the design shown above it was quite simple to decide which sections of the stamped images were best for cutting to form layers.

Stamp the images as required onto paper or cardstock.
