Flocked Card

Card with Flocking

Kate Pullen
Flocking powder or flock gives a velvet texture when added to rubber stamping projects. See Profile of Flocking Powder for more information. There are many different ways of adding flocking powder to rubber stamping projects, one of the easiest methods is simply to use glue to adhere the flock fibers to the surface of the rubber stamping project. Any craft glue is suitable, although always practice first on scratch paper. Flocking powder can be used to embellish any handmade card, however it works particularly well as an accent, highlighting a design element.

In this example we used flocking to powder to add texture and to highlight the heart shaped balloons. This gives a pretty feminine touch to the finished card.
