Create Easy Flocked Borders with Double Sided Tape

Flocking gives a velvet finish to projects. See Profile of Flocking Powder for more information. There are many ways of using flocking powder or flock. One of the most simple yet effective ways is to create borders or frames using double sided tape. The velvet texture of the flocked border gives a sumptuous finish to a handmade card or other rubber stamping project. Although this is a quick way to create a beautiful border, the end results belie the simplicity of the technique.

Materials Required

• Flocking powder
• Double sided tape
• Rubber stamps, inks and other supplies as required
