When the surface of the polymer clay is smooth the full mica shift effect can be seen. This will be enhanced further when the clay has been baked and the surface buffed using an old towel or other rough piece of fabric.
To use the mica shift effect polymer clay, simply cut out a shape from the clay and cure to use as an embellishment for a handmade card or to make an item of jewelry. If the mica shift effect polymer clay sheet is too thin, add it to another sheet of polymer clay to increase the thickness.
Some areas of the clay may have a more interesting effect than others, depending on the rubber stamp design, therefore look at the piece of mica shift clay from several directions first to see which are the best pieces to use.
Have fun experimenting!
