Starting rubber stamping can be quite a daunting task. Whereas to the uninitiated it might seem quite simple - a stamp and ink and off you go - the reality is quite different!

There is an abundance of choice facing a novice rubber stamper, with extensive ranges of inks, papers and other accessories - and that's before we've even started on the stamps themselves!

There is no need for someone starting out to buy everything - even though this is extremely tempting! Some basic supplies and a lot of enthusiasm will give you a great start. A few key essentials provide the basis for some great rubber stamping projects.
