When you download a digital stamp you will find that often they have been compressed into a ZIP file. A ZIP file has been selected because this offers greater convenience to you as the user. A ZIP file allows more than one file in a single download and ZIP files are compressed so that they are smaller and download more quickly. This is particularly useful for people who are on dial-up or have a slow Internet connection.
Extract Files
You will download and save the ZIP file to your computer. It is a good idea to create a special folder for your digital stamps. If you are using Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7 you can then just double click on the downloaded ZIP file and when the folder opens, click on "Extract all files". This will place a new folder containing the digital stamps in the same location on your PC as the ZIP file.
The files have now been extracted from the ZIP file and are ready for use.
