This is the book that started me rubber stamping! The book was actually sent me in error. I was expecting a different book. However after flicking through the pages of Stamping Techniques I was hooked and decided to keep the book.
Until I read Stamping Techniques I really thought that rubber stamping was a boring craft. After all, what is exciting about pressing a stamp on paper. However when reading what Mary Jo McGraw had to say about different ways of using stamps and using materials that I would never have thought of as being useful for stamping, I started viewing rubber stamping in a different way.
The author has a friendly way of writing which makes the book easy to read.
Many years on, even though I have read the book from cover to cover several times I still refer to it for ideas. I would definitely suggest that this is a good book for a rubber stamper's book shelf.
